WHAT ARE WIMBLEDON DEBENTURE TICKETS?
SEAT LOCATION All Debenture Tickets are in prime locations within the first 12 rows of the covered stands on Center Court and all different levels on Court 1. LIMITED WIMBLEDON DEBENTURE TICKET AVAILABILITY As there are only 2100 Centre Court Debenture Tickets, scarcity makes them expensive as well as very difficult to get.
Each Wimbledon ticket also comes with a Debenture Holders' Lounge Badge, entitling the bearer entry into the exclusive Centre Court Debenture Lounge and restaurant. The Centre Court debenture lounge has a large restaurant and bar area. The debenture lounge has its own cloakroom and toilets. Situated close to Centre Court, the exclusive Debenture Holders' Lounge is the perfect place for lunches, teas and light refreshments. It is a quiet oasis amidst the general hustle and bustle of the Lawn Tennis Championships. Views of courts 5 and 10 can also be enjoyed from the comfort of the Lounge. CENTER COURT HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT INTO THE FUTURE These will provide Centre Court Debenture Holders with a substantial upgrade and expansion to their facilities, and a completely new east wing. As well as nearly doubling the space currently available, this will provide a waitress service restaurant and improved bar facilities. It is anticipated that a new Centre Court restaurant and bar will be available from 2008, with the retractable roof completed in time for the 2009 Championships. Debenture
Tickets are the only tickets that can be legally transferred or
sold by the holder to someone else. A Debenture is a loan made by
an investor to Wimbledon with the money used to fund capital improvements
(such as the new No 1 Court). Instead of interest these investors
are given seats in prime locations on either Centre Court or No.1
Court.
