The schedule for each day’s matches is posted on www.usopen.org the night before they occur. Traditionally during the Day Session, there are three matches played in Ashe Stadium. During the evening, there are typically two matches played in Ashe Stadium. This is subject to both weather and schedule changes. Ultimately, the number of matches is determined by the Referee’s Office and is subject to change at any time.
What are the different types of Day Session tickets?
There are three different types of Day Session tickets. They are as follows:
* Arthur Ashe Stadium – Provides an assigned seat in the main stadium along with first-come, first-served access to Louis Armstrong Stadium, the Grandstand and all of the field courts.
* Louis Armstrong Stadium (reserved seating) - Provides an assigned seat in the Loge level of Louis Armstrong Stadium, along with first-come, first-served access to the Grandstand and all of the field courts. Louis Armstrong tickets are only sold for the first nine days of the tournament.
* Grounds Admission (General Admission) – Provides first-come, first-served access to Louis Armstrong Stadium, the Grandstand and all of the field courts. Grounds Admissions are only sold for the first eight days of the tournament.
What are the different types of Evening Session tickets?
There is only one type of Evening Session ticket. It is as follows:
* Arthur Ashe Stadium – Provides an assigned seat in the main stadium for any matches scheduled to take place in Ashe Stadium on a given evening.
Can I get into Arthur Ashe Stadium with a Grounds Admission ticket?
No, the only tickets that permit access into Arthur Ashe Stadium is an Arthur Ashe Stadium ticket.
When does the night session end?
The night session ends officially after the evening matches conclude (traditionally around 10 or 11 p.m.).
What is the earliest time I can get into the gates?
The earliest you can enter the grounds is at 10 a.m. for the Day Session and 6 p.m. for the Evening Session. On the final Sunday, the earliest you can enter the grounds is 11 a.m. Stadium Information

The US Open Championships is an elimination tennis tournament. Due to this fact, the draw for each day will not be announced until the night before each match. It is not possible to purchase tickets in advance for a specific player. Tickets are sold on a session-by-session basis.

Is there a way to see any of the qualifying rounds of the US Open?
The US Open Qualifying Tournament is held starting the last Tuesday (Aug. 19, 2008) before the start of the US Open, ending on Friday (Aug. 22, 2008) of the same week. Gates open at 10 a.m.
