Following their impressive 4-1 win over Switzerland, the United States will travel next to Porec Croatia to face an incredibly tough Croatian team at the Zatica Sports Hall on clay, July 10th-12th. Porec, a village that dates back to Roman times, is a very popular seaside resort about two hours south of Trieste.

The last time the two nations played was in the 2005 when Croatia came out on top 3-2. In that tie, Ivan Ljubicic won all three points for the Croatians, managing to overcome both Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick in Singles, and in the Doubles partnering up with Mario Ancic to defeat Bob and Mike Bryan. The atmosphere in Porec will be electric as a boisterous home crowd will be packed in this venue of approximately 3,700 seats.

Croatia remains the only World Group nation the United States has never beaten. The U.S. is 0-2 against Croatia. The winner will take on the winner of the Argentina vs. Czech Republic tie.
